Worthing Birdman 2009 Entry
Following a conversation at First Friday in April, Tony Hedger from A & T Business Associates, Ann-Marie Blackman from Sparks and Roy Thompson from Clydesdale Bank got talking about Eczema and the research that is being undertaken and funded by Sparks. Both Tony & Roy have children who suffer from Eczema and they have joined forces with Ann-Marie for a sponsored attempt at the Worthing 2009 International Birdman Event.
The First Friday Worthing Network has funded Sparks entry to the Birdman and Roy has agreed to be the ‘jumper’. Ann-Marie has secured the help of a team of students at Northbrook College, who will be designing and building the entry, as well as teaching Roy how to fly!
